Phoebe Hering
Since graduating from Yale School of the Environment with master's degree of environmental management, Phoebe Hering served in a variety of roles in the US federal government, including at the White House Council on Environmental Quality and the Department of the Treasury's Climate Office. While at Treasury, Phoebe served as a domestic climate policy advisor to the Climate Counselor to the Secretary, focusing on the implementation of the Inflation Reduction Act.
At Yale, Phoebe specialized in environmental policy and economics. Also, while at Yale, she served as an environmental advisor to NRDC, Earthjustice, and the government of Bolivia. In addition to a master's degree of environmental management, Phoebe also holds a master's degree in cultural anthropology from the Erasmus Mundus program in Europe and a bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature, Religious Studies, and French Language from Cornell University. Phoebe is fluent in French and Spanish, and proficient in Italian and Portuguese.
